The Malawi Cap and Share Task Force was established in January 2025 to explore the potential of a Cap and Share policy in Malawi.

It brings together stakeholders from government, international NGOs, Malawian civic society and international experts.

The Task Force met for 6 months and conducted detailed policy analysis and economic modelling of national and bilateral Cap and Share policy scenarios. This work culminated in the publication of a paper, which was launched at a high-level consultative event in Lilongwe in June. You can read the full paper below.
