Equal right

for economic justice without borders

Latest:  'How to fund climate justice' launch video - watch now

Equal Right is a global justice organisation that works for economic justice without borders. We research and campaign for innovative approaches that could achieve direct global redistribution, to tackle global inequalities and injustices and secure fundamental human rights for people everywhere.

Our work spans three main areas:
  • Climate justice: Our worldwide campaign for 'cap and share' aims to keep fossil fuels in the ground and provide climate finance, reparations and redistribution.
  • 'No borders' tax justice:  We are building a global network to explore the potential of international wealth tax and international financial transactions tax.
  • Global basic income:  We research and model how a global universal basic income (global UBI) could be funded and distributed, and how it could be transformative for people everywhere.
